The 3day GH PUBFEST’ event aims at mimicking the bar economy and provide a one stop shop for business owners as well as revelers to engage, and explore business opportunities while having fun in a familiar atmosphere.
Breakdown of Activities
Live band music
live combo band music to keep consumers, exhibitors and sponsors busy all through the festival. The band will feature a mix of various music genres that will engage event participants throughout the duration.
Food cooking Competition
A cook-off competition amongst players in the pub economy that challenges participants to showcase their culinary skills and creativity using locally-sourced ingredients. Main participants will be drawn from food vendors of the participating Pubs and Lounges.
Fashion & Beauty Contest
A fashion show and beauty pageant will be held on the sidelines of the festival. The models will be drawn from the pub industry and will feature mainly waitresses of the various pubs and lounges.
Disc Jockey Competition
A DJ battle that showcases the skills of local DJs and provides a platform for upcoming talents. Participants will be mainly DJs from participating pubs.
Football and Sack Race
Competitive and fun sporting activities for attendees who love to stay active and compete. This will be amongst workers of the various participating pubs, bars, lounges, as well as workers of the beverage companies.
Board Games
A range of classic and modern board games for attendees who prefer to socialize and have fun in a more relaxed setting.
Weight Lifting
A weight lifting competition amongst mainly the security departments of the pubs participating at the event. Many pubs employ services of “macho” men to provide security for their customers.
Dancing Competition
A dance-off competition that allows attendees to showcase their moves and have fun on the dance floor.
Bouncy Castles
Provision of playground equipment will be made to accommodate the presence of children accompanying their parents and guardians to the event venue. This is to provide entertainment for them as well as to cater to the needs of our diverse customer base.
Tug of War
Members of the security and bouncer’s department of the participating pubs, bars and lounges will contest in the Tug-of-War activities to be organized as part of the festival.
All these stated activities promise to be very competitive and exciting and is aimed at bringing the industry to life.
